Future tense in Russian

Future tense in Russian
Grammar. Theme: Russian verb in future tense.
За́втра (=tomorrow), послеза́втра (=the day after tomorrow), зате́м (=then), по́сле чего? (=after what?) ... All these words help to form the future tense in the sentences.
But how to form the future tense of Russian verbs?

           (Present tense)                            (Future tense)
           Я в па́рке.                                   Я бу́ду в па́рке.
           Ты на уро́ке.                              Ты бу́дешь на уро́ке.
           Он в шко́ле.                               Он бу́дет в шко́ле.
           Она́ в университе́те                  Она́ бу́дет в университе́те.
           Мы до́ма.                                   Мы бу́дем до́ма.
           Вы в теа́тре.                              Вы бу́дете в теа́тре.
           Они́ на рабо́те.                          Они́ бу́дут на рабо́те.

As you can see, in the present tense we do not use the verb "есть", but in the future tense we replace this verb with "быть" in the future tense.

There are two variants of the future tense in Russian. This is a simple future and a complex future.
That's not difficult at all, you just need to know the aspects of verbs (Imperfective or Perfective).
If the verbs is Imperfective aspect, then it will only have the form of a complex future tense.
And if the verb is Perfective aspect, then it will have the form of a simple future tense.

Complex future (for Imperfective verbs)

Complex future means that the action will occur or will be repeated.

To form complex future you need only the verb "БЫТЬ" in the future tense and the Infinitive (indefinite form of the verb) of the Imperfective verb.

For example, the verb

That's all.
The future is formed from the future tense of the verb "БЫТЬ" and the Infinitive form of the Imperfective verb.

Simple future (for Perfective verbs)

Simple future means that in the future the action will be completed, will have a result. That is why this form is possible only for Perfective verbs.

To form simple future it is necessary to know the conjugation of the Perfective verb. Let's repeat, that in the Russian language there are two conjugations - I and II. And if you don’t remember or don’t know what conjugation of a verbs, then any vocabulary will help you - it's written conjugation or written forms of verb (by the endings it’s not difficult to understand what conjugation a verb has).

For example, the verb прочитать (I conjugation)

Let's look at the verb II conjugation. For example, the verb

So, simple future is formed from the Perfective verb in the same way as the present tense of the  Imperfective verb.
But these are completely different verbs, they have different tenses and different meanings of the action!

Future tense in the construction "I have"

To form future tense  in the construction "I have" it is important to know the number of the noun - singular or plural, since there will be only two forms of the verb "БЫТЬ" in the future tense.
So, the construction will be changed according to the model:

У меня БУДЕТ/БУДУТ + who? what? (Nominative case)

(for singular) За́втра у меня́ бу́дет день рожде́ния.
                       Послеза́втра у тебя́ бу́дет экза́мен.
                       Сего́дня ве́чером у него́ бу́дет вебина́р.

(for plural) Че́рез неде́лю у неё бу́дут ле́кции.
                   За́втра у нас бу́дет встре́ча
                   Ве́чером у вас бу́дут та́нцы.
                   На выходны́х у них бу́дет экску́рсия.

Conclusion: To form future tense it is necessary to know the aspect of the verb (Imperfective or Perfective).
Since the verb is Imperfective the form of the future tense consists of the verb "БЫТЬ" in the future tense and Infinitive form.
And for Perfective verbs it is necessary to know the correct conjugation in order to form the future tense.
